CPARLENE® requires no cleaning! Individual student face masks provide maximum protection against cross contamination. Each face mask is designed with a one-way non-rebreathing valve and is disposable or may be reused after proper disinfection. Molded hair requires no maintenance. The disposable tracheal airway and lower airway with lung bag eliminate time-consuming disinfection procedures. Includes 10 disposable airways, 10 disposable tracheal airways, and five sanitary face masks.
Electronic monitoring allows trainees to critique their performance at a glance. All electronic monitoring units are housed outside the CPARLENE® manikin, connected by a quick-release interface jack similar to a telephone extension. Portable electronics allow monitors, not students, to be moved from manikin to manikin. Helps reduce cross-contamination. All units are powered by “C” or “D” batteries, and change from adult to child readings with the flip of a switch.
This CPARLENE® Torso comes with a three-color light controller box that indicates acceptable ventilation volume, compression depth, and improper hand placement. With the flip of a switch on the light box and the change of compression springs, child CPR can be practiced. Jaw thrust feature. The torso is clothed in a washable, short sleeve athletic jacket and includes supplies and a soft carrying case with wheels.
A practical trainer for various methods of tracheotomy. Training of both conventional and percutaneous tracheotomy and puncture/incision into the cricothyroid ligament is available. For conventional tracheotomy, different types of incisions can be performed including longitudinal, transverse, crucial, U-shaped, and inverted U-shaped. Simulating a patient in a supine position with the neck extended, the tracheotomy trainer allows the user to determine the proper incision site while identifying arterial locations, and to observe intratracheal conditions from the head. The trachea can be reused by turning it upside down or inside out, and the skin by sliding it to either side or turning it upside down. Contents: main body, neck (with arteries), thyroid cartilage (with cricoid cartilage), trachea (four pieces), skin (four sheets), and lubricant (silicon oil).
Rugged and easy to use, this adult manikin gives instructors a highly effective asset to their programs and provides students with a thorough CPR training experience. Comes with 10 low-cost disposable airway systems and individual mouth/nose pieces, which can be sanitized for reuse. Lifelike, anatomical landmarks (carotid pulse, sternum, rib cage, and sub-sternal notch) and the realistic resistance to chest compression help students learn with accuracy and perfect their lifesaving skills. Lightweight and portable. Comes in a carrying tote bag with built-in kneeling pads, and also includes an exterior console box that indicates proper hand position, adequate chest compressions, and adequate air volume.
